Summary
AU: Lu Ten never died at Ba Sing Se, and Fire Lord Iroh rules the nation with an iron fist. Zuko is merely the son of the second prince, overlooked by his more talented younger sister and can only dream of the day when he will be finally allowed to prove himself in battle. When Lu Ten returns, triumphant, with the Avatar and his Water Tribe companions in chains, Zuko is put in charge of their imprisonment. But he soon learns that things are not what they seem with both the child Avatar and within his own family. And soon, Zuko will have a decision to make. How much good can one overlooked nephew to the throne do?

Matt just grunts at him.
You know what? If these arseholes want to deal with the scum of Hell’s Kitchen, they can deal with it.
The man stumbles to his feet and half walks, half falls in Matt’s direction. Matt just looks at Captain America with a dark smile.
‘You want to deal with these assholes? They’re all yours.’

Or Daredevil needs to protect a certain law firm in Hell's Kitchen. He's a little slack about protecting this Matt Murdock fellow though, and the Avengers are only too happy to step in to help.
Matt is SO not okay with this. (Shut up Foggy, so what if it's his own fault!)

OR: Unfortunately for Sokka, that means the Gaang has not one, but two unstable, broken fire siblings to deal with. Y’know. Once they break Zuko out of prison. Because this is not a situation that calls for torture (probably. HE'S still on the fence about it, screw Aang and Katara and their stupid morals and how much he agrees with them)
