With a smirk, Snake reaches up and takes off his hat, setting it on Hal’s head; Hal’s eyes go wide, and he freezes, stiff as a board. Snake doesn’t doubt that Hal knows what this means.
“This time, the bounty’s on you.”After short-lived conflict, Hal gives in and pays off a debt that his favorite cowboy put him up to.

Almost, Hal blushes, but that wet cough of Snake’s doesn’t do him much justice. His brows knit together, and he starts to wonder whether Snake is slowly losing his mind.
“Snake? Are you delirious?”For nearly a week, Hal nurses a sick and stubborn Snake.

Chapters 1-2 are rated M for language and sexual references, whereas Chapter 3 is a shameless sex scene that is very much rated E for E-rotic and E-xtremely Gratuitous in true Ricean fashion. Proceed with caution, or, alternately, enthusiasm.
