Summary
Wilbur was revived a few months ago, and frankly Techno has been avoiding the guy. Between Pogtopia's everything, and the fact the most Techno's glimpsed of him in weeks had been him pacing in circles on Phil's balcony, Techno thinks that keeping a safe distance is more than fair. He's retired. He doesn't exactly need that in his life right now.
Unfortunately, Chat doesn't agree with that sentiment. They want him to talk to Wilbur.
If it's choosing between going on a walk with a terrorist for an hour, and a hundred thousand maniacs throwing a migraine in his skull begging him to, the choice is easy enough.

Summary
Creepers fear cats, keeping a minimum distance of six blocks away at all times. Even when pursuing a player, if said player has a tamed cat by their side, they will not approach, nor begin detonation. Cats are thus a valuable companion for any potential explorer who may not be able to handle these living bombs in close-range combat. Any player fearing a creeper's explosions is advised to always keep a cat nearby.
