“How do you know this?” he glances back to Ares cell, ready to answer when the walkie talkie clipped to his cart crackles to life.
“Thomas? Thomas are you okay?” one of the guards, Skeppy he thinks, the one watching the cameras tonight “You need me to come down there?”
Turning on his heels he curses under his breath as he stalks back to the blind spot. Unclipping it from the cart he brings it to his lips and turns it on “No--no, I'm fine. Almost done here” he grabs the mop with his free hand.
It crackles “You sure, what were they saying to you?”
He looks past his shoulder “Nothing, I'll be done soon” and Tommy turns the walkie off completely.
A lot can happen in a few months.
