Life after Vecna's death is everything that Steve expected it would be: new job, new house, new beginnings.
He’s fine, honestly.
Everything is fine - other than the fact that his new home in Forest Hills feels under constant watch from something in the shadows, he keeps finding animal corpses drained of blood around town, he can’t hold a relationship down to save himself, Dustin keeps leaving him increasingly concerning cryptic phone messages… and there’s some sort of sinister entity occupying the woods near the Creel House.

Now that Izuku's forced to see him, Shouta Aizawa, at school, all those ugly feelings grow. When Aizawa takes on a personal student, it breaks something in Izuku. Now he wants to hurt his father in some way, force himself into Aizawa's attention. And for once? He didn't care about being kind.
Or Izuku has daddy issues and decides to solve them by being horny and resentful about it.
This is basically just fleshing out my idea from THIS post.

“Hey, hey, it’s alright,” Eddie says, and he draws back if only to run his hands through Steve’s hair softly, pushing the strands back just to lay soft lips at his temple. It feels like love, so it must be.
Love.
He needs it. So much he’s dizzy with it. He leans into the touch.
Eddie smiles against his skin. “I never left.”

It was 2023 in boring Hawkins, Indiana, and Steve Harrington didn't know what he was doing with his life. Home from college with a barely passing GPA, recently dumped, and drunkenly careening down a dark country road to the tune of his own misery, Steve was aware that he might be depressed. Therapy would've been the sane solution. But before he could turn around and make that choice, a glowing red hole cracked open in the middle of the road, and he was sent flying through time and space.
It was also 1985 in boring Hawkins, Indiana, and Eddie Munson had a five step plan on how to fix his life. First, graduate high school. Second, provide a kickass D&D campaign for the nosy little freshman that joined Hellfire. And finally, write more music and go on tour with his band. Okay, three step plan. Absolutely nothing about his plan-in-progress included stumbling across the hottest man he'd ever seen stranded on the side of the road. Or the glowing red portal to hell parked next to him.

“And you woke me up to tell me this why?” his hands raked over his face as he stepped down onto the porch.
“I thought I could skip school, help you cover it up, like we did with the other one last week.”
“So you want everyone to think I’m a bad influence and a murderer. That will really help my reputation.”
“You were the one who wanted to cover it up. I saved us a bunch of time.”
“Yeah, really inspired, thinking up Queen to add under Killer,” he rolled his eyes and desperately wished he’d grabbed a cigarette and his lighter before he’d answered the door. “I never would have thought of that.”
It’s May 2003 and Steve Harrington just realized he's bisexual, very submissive, and in love with Eddie Munson. Too bad Eddie Munson just left town.

The plan was simple. Step one: Max distracted Henry/Vecna/One. Step two: Dustin, Steve, and Eddie distracted him long enough for step three—Robin and Nancy Molotov cocktailed the bastard, finishing him with a bullet between the eyes.
Every step of the plan fails in some way, but they all make it out alive.
No one knows how Eddie made it out alive. In the regroup, no one understood how Steve helped him survive a hurricane of bats. Steve knew. He dreamt about it day and night for a week until it almost drove him to insanity. Steve would never forget.

His parents have already turned two of them a shiny silver, two picture perfect little thumbprints right under the center of his collarbone, almost in the shape of a heart. It couldn’t be more picturesque. It’s the sort of thing they’ll take polaroids of, and show off to all their rich friends. Their perfect little Harrington with his perfect little marks.
The rest of them are far from perfect. They're all far from perfect, Steve learns as he grows. And that's only the tip of the iceberg.
