Summary
Loki spoke quietly. Tiredly. His voice had lost all its charm, and all that was left was raw vulnerability. “I… have nowhere else to go.” The question was implicit.
He swallowed, and Gamora wondered if she had ever seen him so vulnerable. Not for a long time, not since he had first come to Sanctuary, before he had been hardened. Just like her and Nebula had been. They had all been forged in the same flames, hadn’t they?
“Please, Sister?”
She looked at him, silent and trying to hide the fidgeting of his hands behind his back, and caught his eye, watching as he held his breath. She recalled what Drax had said: Family. She wanted hers whole.
And then Gamora smiled softly at her brother, and gestured up the gangplank. “Welcome aboard, Loki.”

What if Loki had never been sent to Earth by Thanos? What if he stayed on Sanctuary for years, spending time with Gamora and Nebula and others of the Black order until 2014, when he was sent with the sisters to aid Ronan in his quest? What if, soon after, Loki joined the Guardians of the Galaxy?
I just wanted to write a fic where Loki Nebula and Gamora bond and become siblings, and Loki joins the GotG for wacky space hijinks, okay?

Summary
Loki was sentenced to slavery, magically enforced, after he tried to take over the earth in The Avengers. It didn’t go well, so to protect him, Thor turns Loki over to the most honorable person he knows: Steve Rogers. Steve doesn’t love the idea, but with Tony’s help, he just might be the best man for the job. Incidentally, it’ll be Loki/Steve Rogers eventually, but things are going to ramp up slowly.

Loki didn't know when he'd been reduced to such...humiliation.
Here he was, back at the home of those cursed Avengers, with Thor, who was practically pleading with the mortals to allow Loki to stay. And to top it off, the Odin didn't seem content with just disarming him physically before he left Asgard. No, the one-eyed fool--he seemed to be running into them a lot lately--had stripped him of his lies.
How on earth was he going to get out of this ridiculously embarrassing situation? Whatever.
He was Loki.
He'd think of something.

His body is still seizing but he’s laughing silently, a dreadful clicking noise coming from the back of his throat even as blood trickles down his chin. “You would— call this— brother?”
