A sheet of fog had settled itself out on the athletic fields. Despite wanting to stand here, staring out at the mist, he forced himself to look forward. A pit of dread claimed its own space in his stomach, threatening to push its current contents out the way they came. He trudged forward, watching as the doors gradually got closer, a sinister mouth preparing to swallow him whole.
