They're in Aleds house again and Frances isn't exactly sure how they got there. They somehow dragged the entire tent inside and it's standing on the middle of the grey carpet, like a red and white Christmas tree made out of plastic.
It's a cheap tent, bought by Aled and Frances in a impulsive decision, an impulsive moment, because they thought about moving to the North- to the mountains and living their lives like hermits, alone and with no school. It was a fun idea. She should bring it up sometimes.
