Summary
No Sheikah - outcast or no - lived this long without an iron will. There were many moments after the calamity when he'd been sure that he'd receive word of Impa's death, but apparently supporting the hero was enough for the stubborn woman to live on.
He wasn't gifted with slumber like the Hero. He hadn't been given a second chance like the scientist. He was old. His bones ached and his back bowed, and when he wasn't defending the mines, he was completing menial tasks or recovering in Hot Springs. Perhaps, when his final days drew near, he should invite the old bat to tea.

Kohga is very, very old. Even by Sheikah standards, his time is nearly up. He's not sure how his Clan (his kids) will survive when it's all over.

Determination lets out a deep breath, getting back to work in Tommy’s mind, fighting off every demon until the shuddering stops and the aches begin and his body settles. He’s done this before. Is the first thing she thinks. He likes to talk, likes to fill a tense and saddened silence with anything and everything. Every word relevant, every little cutoff hooking her in. The son, his builds in The End, Kristin’s dragon form. All these little things tipping off to a more complex character, everything wanting her to drink in everything he knows, every piece of his being.
She’s never been able to interact with The Angel this way, and the experience is almost humbling.
