The toxoplasmosis that was spreading through Mike's body was already dangerous.
Then it started targeting 0222 directly.
As worsening neurological interference leaves him increasingly unstable during combat, Fe9625 becomes the only thing capable of grounding him through the growing static. Forced together by repeated crises and mounting fear, the two blood cells find themselves clinging to each other with every passing day until the separation becomes just as frightening as the infection itself.

I opened the door to the shop and was instantly hit with the most luscious and beautiful aroma I think I have ever smelled, and I paused for a moment, shutting my eyes to literally stop and smell the flowers.
I opened my eyes as I began to move again, and my gaze fell upon perhaps the most gorgeous man I have ever seen in my life. Thick black wavy hair was partially tied at the back of his head with small, unruly strands loose and free around his face. His beautiful dark eyes briefly connected with mine and I felt my already flushed face warm further.
And then I tripped over my own stupid feet. It was as if this man had severed the connection between my brain and body, my brain felt starkly empty in comparison to usual. I landed face down on the floor and decided to just accept my fate.
Even this floor smells of flowers!

Although they never as much utter a word about the beings, it is the most notable myth in town.
