Summary
Instead of being alone while his friends enjoy their Hogsmeade weekends, Harry joins Theodore Nott in the library. A casual acquaintance offers different perspectives on what Harry has to deal with while opening his eyes to everything and everyone around him. It leaves him with more questions but a bigger world.
I hate this summary. Harry and Theo, third year, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, anxiety, invisibility cloak, Animagus, and shenanigans.

Except, what are the chances of that when his match--his only match--is Severus Snape?

Summary
On the thirty-first of October, 1980, Lily Potter filed a magically binding will naming Severus Snape as Harry's guardian. She placed him last on the list to convince James. She placed him first because she meant it.
Snape cannot refuse. He does not decide to become a father. He simply does the things that fathers do, one after another, for twelve years, until the doing becomes the thing, and the thing becomes permanent.
Dumbledore had a plan. Lily had a better one.
Blood was never the magic that protected Harry. It was love.

Summary
To rebalance a world spinning toward disaster, Lady Magic recruits an unlikely and understandably reluctant champion- the failed, thoroughly unmourned, recently departed Severus Snape, allowing him to return back to life in his fifth year, before his pivotal “Mudblood moment” as a fully repentant, far wiser, less angry version of his former young self. Snape has a Herculean task ahead. Can he fix himself enough to unite the magical world and revive a dying planet?
-----
Slight AU of canon- two pivotal events are different:
1)Lily and James really are flirting in the scene where Snape is hanging upside-down.
2)Snape dies in the Shrieking Shack before he can give his memories to Harry, so Harry never walks to his death a willing sacrifice and dies trying his best to take Voldemort with him. He fails to do so. Harry did collect all the 3 Hallows and is still Master of Death, though. He and Lady Magic convince Death to send Snape back to 1976 to right what went wrong. The rest of the changes are through Snape's (and sometimes Harry's or others) actions as this story diverges very quickly from canon.

Summary
Harry Potter is eleven. Sort of. Except he's thirty-one. Or so.
Doesn't matter, really. He can look eleven if he wants. What matters is, he's lived all this shit before. SEEN it, anyway. and aged up. And he will not let it go that way this time.
This time, he's taking care of everything. Nobody's dying. Nobody's living in fear. And nobody's camping and starving for months looking for horcruxes. Harry's destroying the damn things immediately. Like, yesterday. Who knows. Time's a little wonky.Severus Snape is not prepared for adult, unhinged Harry Potter. Neither are Sirius, Remus, Ron, or any of the Weasleys. But that's okay. Harry hopes they won't get too attached. Because. Well. Harry's a horcrux. And all horcruxes have to be destroyed.

Between the letters he's been exchanging with the Dark Lord and studying the Dark Arts with his housemates, Severus anticipates an exciting year at school.

"Professor McGonagall, Harry is at it again!"
"Oh god, what is it this time, Mister Weasley?"
"He is drinking tea with Malfoy by the lake after traumatising Professor Snape with food! Also, he gave me a handful of Lemon Drops. He is having tea with the Headmaster next and refused to help the Quitditch team because his knees hurt."
"Goddamnit!"

Summary
England, Regency. Miss Harriette Potter has lost her parents, her home, and nearly everything she owns to the grasping hands of her aunt and uncle — until a stranger arrives in a storm with legal documents and an ebony cane and the cold, unsparing authority of a man who has been waiting to do this for a very long time. Sir Severus Snape is her guardian by her mother's design, a baronet and Royal Chemist who keeps his feelings with the same precision he keeps his experiments — tightly stoppered and clearly labelled. He has not, however, accounted for a ward who pays exactly the right kind of attention. A Gothic Regency slow burn about grief, restoration, and the quality of attention that cannot be arranged.
