Having had enough, Schroeder set down his beer bottle to look at her fully. “Just because we don’t have the same interests and goals doesn’t mean I’m boring.”
Lucy conceded, softening. “Yeah, I know. And I love you for being the sarcastic weirdo Beethoven freak you are. But I also want to see you get out there and experience this city. Like, did you know that there’s a jazz bar in Midtown that’s also a library! There’s a flower shop in Soho that turns into a fortune teller’s booth by night! There’s a record shop three blocks away that has a sleepy cat that lies in between the Rock and Indie section. There’s a whole world out there, Schroeder!”

(Set in 2005) If there's anything you can say about Shermy, it's that he's boring. Dull, unimpressive, easily fading into the background, hell, he barely even counts as one of the friend group, he just happens to live in the same neighborhood and be in the same classes as the other kids. But not everything is as it seems, and Charlie Brown soon begins to ask questions as he attempts to befriend Shermy. Sooner or later, however, he'll learn that some things are best left in the dark.

After being humiliated and scolded at his own party, Shermy wants revenge on Lucy. His tactic? Bribing Schroeder to make Lucy fall in love with him, only to break her heart.Schroeder reluctantly agrees, but after reconnecting with Lucy in a real way, he realizes that he has genuinely fallen in love with her.
Now, he must find a way to be with her without her finding out about the scheme he had become a part of. -

It’s the last year at the middle school camp for crabby eighth-grade girl Lucy Van Pelt, who is beginning to stress about going to high school. After Lucy begins to back away from her agitating behavior, Schroeder, her unrequited love, starts to see her in a different light, viewing her as a real person rather than the constant nuisance she had always been. Although it should be as simple as him just admitting his feelings, it gets complicated when he’s avoidant, and other people begin to stand in the way. Now, camp is definitely unforgettable, but not for the reasons Lucy thought they would be.
