Few self-destructive years later, only shell of a person he used to be, he finds himself amazed by stranger on a subway. A stranger that doesn't stay stranger for a very long and under really dramatic circumstances tears down Gerard's fortress of solitude, entering his life with a proper turmoil.

A lil gem I've been working on for quite a while.
Dracs are known in Danger Days lore, but why are they so intimidating to people? Why is that mask so despised?
What if the draculoids represent a deep-seated cultural fear of vampires? What if there was a warning against real "vampires" that was BLI propaganda??!
The story behind this idea came to me while listening to MCR's Vampires Will Never Hurt You.
Taking a song from their first album and placing it among Danger Days themes, this novel was the result.
I am so excited to share it with you.
*Note: it's a very popular head canon that Party Poison is nonbinary! I'm completely aware of that, and think it's great. (I fall under the genderqueer umbrella myself)
However, in this fic, respectfully, I have chosen to stick with he/him pronouns for Poison, mainly to place strong emphasis on the very GAY romance aspect. I appreciate your understanding!
