Gerard almost loses his life after a drug overdose gone bad, Mikey is dealing with his own alcohol-induced depression downward spiral, Ray is struggling to keep his band together and is on the verge of calling it quits, Bob is too new to the band to understand what’s going on and is questioning if this was a good idea or not, and Frank is cheating on his fiancee with his best friend/former band member.
PSA: The OFC in this fic is the Way brothers’ sister. She is the replacement drummer after Matt P departs the band. Her tenure in this universe is during Three Cheers. She leaves the band prior to the making of Black Parade and gets replaced by Bob B.
