Of course, Pete only seemed interested in his ideas when he actually provided them. Two days ago he had told himself that he was gonna get over whatever fond, gushy little feelings he had about Pete Wentz, but here he was, sitting across from the man completely blank, his brain mush.
It wasn't so much the crush itself that made interacting with him so difficult—no, J had interacted just fine with people they had crushes on before—it was that constant reminder they got when they looked into Pete’s eyes; the brain behind those eyes registered the blonde twenty-three-year-old as a kid. His kid. Seriously, they didn't even look alike. Either Pete was incredibly blind, or he truly believed that somehow, it was possible for an incredibly short, mixed, brown-haired, man to father what was basically the equivalent of the Pillsbury doughboy if someone stretched him to an absurd six foot five inches and gave him extreme redness.
Really, the looks probably had nothing to do with Pete’s train of thought, but J was spiraling.

In Mikey’s defense, he hadn’t realized Pete was a reporter until after he had already become inextricably intertwined with him. To try and pull out now would just tighten the knot.
At least that’s what he tells himself.
Or: Spider-Man tries to keep it all together, Gerard yells at a little brother shaped brick wall, Kingpin runs for mayor, and Pete (eventually) connects some dots.

At what point do dreams stop feeling like dreams at all?
After some weeks of work, Gerard Way, an aspiring comic book writer and illustrator, begins to lose track of time, blurring the line between his dreams and his reality. His world is turned upside down when the same unfamiliar figure begins appearing over and over again in his oniric space.
This figure seems to sneak in his drawings, watching him from the most unexpected corners of his mind. And the more he tries to ignore it, is more obvious it becomes that it's looking for him too.
Can Gerard find out what's hiding behind those drawings before he loses himself in them?
(Basically, Gerard dreams about a stranger, meets him in real life and gets more confused as he tries to reconcile the real Frank with the version of him that keeps appearing in his dreams.)

This is a different take on Prison Break but with Vampires. Patrick is a doctor in a prison and is happily married. One day, a new prisoner comes in named Pete Wentz, who is there to break William Beckett out of prison. Pete arranges for a riot of the prisoners to act as a distraction for his and William's escape plan, but it fails. Afterwards, Patrick feels himself being drawn to Pete and he doesn't know why. When Patrick has to transfer a stabbing patient to the hospital, things go very, very wrong. Patrick is framed for a crime he didn't commit. How will he adjust to life in prison? How will he get out? Will he ever see Pete again?

They’d been doing this dance– this thing Frank calls their “will-they-won’t-they bullshit” of sleeping in the same bunk more often than not and being glued to each other’s sides– since Kansas. Been actual friends since the first real day of Warped, though, and Mikey had been tangentially aware of Pete since 2003 when they’d played some bowling alley in Chicago where Pete had made it his mission to introduce himself and tell Mikey he was a better bass player than Pete was before he made Mikey sign his left pec (“like a groupie, dude!” he’d said through gentle, beer-buzzed laughter.) Mikey was sure he’d blushed or said something stupid (or nothing at all, more likely), and Pete’s mouth had curled into this wicked little grin when he’d said, “Am I your first groupie, Mikeyway?”
Name all smashed together like that. Mikeyway. One word. No space between. Kind of like he and Pete were now, not that Mikey’s complaining.

Joe is a well-known film director in Chicago. Built up his fame filming multiple locations people wouldn’t ever dare to go. There are dark rumors about the location he wants to film in next. This time, though, Joe wants to change things up and expose The Killjoys; a cult that’s never been brought to light, only spoken about. They’re a myth, according to the rest of the world, but Joe has a feeling that they exist somewhere far in the Middle East. Or maybe an island nearby that isn’t exactly on the map.
And Joe isn’t the best at telling his friends nor his newly hired crew the truth.
