Worldbuilding was crazy good. Internal dialogue peak! Added bonus detail that Tony's inner workings weren't always spelled out, and occasionally, the conclusions to his thought-experiments only paid off once after the sinker: ie. The Friday background plotline. Everything to do with Strange was great; often, he lacks depth in Ironstrange works, and he's a real standout in this one. Not only that, but Peter's humanity and idealistic viewpoint was a good contrast to Tony's...everything. And Tony! God, was he facinating. Great fic, wonderful, will deffo reread!

Summary
Dumbledore doesn't make it in time for Harry's trial, and the outcome is very different. Harry is expelled, his wand snapped.
But he refuses to give up. And he is done waiting around for Albus Dumbledore to give him information.
Deciding to take his life into his own hands, Harry asks for training from several Order members, preparing himself to fight Voldemort while the whole wizarding world believes he's helpless and back in the muggle world.
Meanwhile, his friends are at Hogwarts, tackling their own problems in the form of Dolores Umbridge. Harry hadn't expected the separation to be so difficult - or for a certain mischievous redhead to make the waiting game they'd entered into so very excruciating.
He might have lost his home in Hogwarts, but with Sirius and Remus around, Harry begins to learn that rebuilding a family isn't as hard as he'd anticipated.

OH MAN!!!/pos!! I wish to study this fic, I want to take it apart and put it back together. It's so clear how much thought and care has been put into the expression of each character and it's arc, each perspective and their inherent biases and emotions. I love love love Sev here, he's a imperfect little nightmare, and hurting so badly, and its almost like watching a pig in a trash compacter, because I'm all aware of how easy it would be to make him worse. And The Potter family is so personal, so detailed, so deliberate. I really like Jame's parts here; I have expect what I read from Snape, but many points of James---his misplaced jealousy, his protective/resentment behavior around Sirius, his disgust towards himself and Severus all at once---i dunno, I keep getting wrapped up in it. All in all, would highly recommend others to read! <333

AU. Nineteen year old Peter Parker has worked for SHIELD ever since he had a run-in with Nick Fury over alien technology a couple of years ago.
When Tony Stark and Happy Hogan are injured in an attack that uses unfamiliar alien tech, Peter is assigned by Fury as their bodyguard and informant. He has one rule he tells himself on missions. Or, well, one rule with three sub-sections: get in and out, stay alert, and do not get attached. (That last sub-section holds more weight than the others — by about forty percent, give or take.)
Morgan Stark — and, apparently, the rest of the Avengers, along with people he's tried to leave behind — are making the last part of that rule very difficult for him. Oh, and it turns out that Tony Stark isn't as big of an asshole as everyone makes him out to be. Who knew?

Summary
When Severus Snape banked on being dead at the end of a war, it was as much of a shock as a burden to find out he was very much alive. He'd rather welcome oblivion and be known as a hero, than watch himself become a listless ghost of his former self. He never expected his Life After Death would contain much but living an isolated, quiet, life. Instead he somehow ended up returning to Hogwarts to teach, becoming involved in student affairs he'd rather stay far removed from, and most importantly, having copious amounts of sex with his old childhood enemy- Remus Lupin.
Recovery is a fickle and long road, and he certainly didn't expect his would involve accepting Remus as part of it.
