After the Hosu Incident, it was time for their final exams. Izuku—and everyone else, really—got so caught up in studying that they didn’t really think to talk about the internships. Almost everyone passed the exams, though, and even those who didn’t still got to go to the training camp!
The trip to the mall was scary. Truthfully, Izuku had been hoping to never see Shigaraki again. Although, considering One for All, that was unlikely. Izuku swore he’d seen Time at the mall. His eye was trained on Shigaraki as he held a blue instrument that Izuku later identified as an ocarina. Izuku wasn’t quite sure if it really was him, but--either way--it helped him stay calm during the entire encounter.
Now, all Izuku wanted was to just have a nice, fun summer camp with his friends.Series

After the run-in with Wind, Izuku was interrogated by multiple of his classmates. Even Aizawa-sensei had pulled him aside to ask him some questions. Who was Wind? Was he safe? Where did he live? Who were his parents? How did Izuku know him?
It was exhausting, and for once, Izuku hoped he didn’t run into the Chain for a long while. Well, maybe except for Wild, Izuku missed his cooking dearly. But, then again, Wild was one of the more chaotic ones. If Legend and Wind, the two strategists, managed to draw the attention of his teachers and classmates, he couldn’t imagine what Wild would be like.
But in the end, it didn’t matter. Izuku would be leaving for his internship with Gran Torino soon, and he desperately hoped that nothing would go wrong.
