The wind outside howled on, a low whisper against the insulated nylon walls, but it sounded far away now—tamed by the shelter they’d made for each other.
Phainon was boneless in Mydei’s arms, legs tangled together, with his head tucked beneath Mydei’s chin. His body hummed with the slow, pleasant throb of being thoroughly ruined, and his voice was down to a murmur.
“Don’t let me die of contentment,” he whispered.
“You’re not dying,” Mydei said, brushing damp curls away from his forehead.
“I might be,” Phainon argued faintly. “I think my bones melted. You melted me.”

Whatever business he was attending to required him to look the part of delicate beauty that he is, and now that he’s wrapped that up, Boothill gets to be the one to enjoy that view up close. His white shirt, thin and loose, is nearly sheer when it’s stone dry, never mind how it looks with a little bit of sweat soaked in. Tight, grey slacks show off those pretty legs of his, and right now, leaves nothing to the imagination as to what is going on beneath his zipper.
He looks an absolute sight, and it’s real, real hard to hold himself back from pinning his leg back between Argenti’s just to hear him cry out again.
No. Nope. He’s being good, he’s keeping with Argenti’s pace, even if it kills him.

The problem, as Bucky sees it, isn't so much that Steve doesn't like his 21st century uniforms as much as his uniform from 1943 - they don't fit the same, Steve always says; the fabric feels wrong, he never has time to get used to them before SHIELD comes up with the next one - whatever. The problem isn't even that Steve is always in such a hurry to take the uniform off as soon as they get back from missions.
The problem, as Bucky sees it, is that Steve never seems to want to put on other clothes afterwards.
