“XIE LIAN!”
The god’s eyes snapped up to meet his husband’s in shock at hearing his full name coming from his lips. The ghost held a hint of anger -or perhaps frustration- now on his face.
“Will you please stop trying to run away?” Hua Cheng begged, his voice softer once again. Vulnerable. Defeated.
“I- I’m not running away, San Lang, don’t be silly-”
“YES- Yes you are Your Highness.” Hua Cheng snapped uncharacteristically at his god, “You are trying to pretend that everything is fine when something is clearly not fine. Something happened in your dream and you won’t tell me. You never tell me.”

Summary
As his beloved walked down the aisle, a small gasp could be heard in the silent temple. For the first time since they had met on that ox cart, Hua Cheng presented his true self to his god in a silent offering.
‘I am all yours’ it said.
‘Every part of me, my soul, my being, my body, they are all yours’.
And Xie Lian understood. Hua Cheng knew, Xie Lian understood.

“Will Dianxia please tell his servant what he wants today?” Hua Cheng asked.
“I want- I want to pleasure San Lang too, please”
Hua Cheng’s frigid heart stops.

"W-what?" the freckled boy blinked as he noticed the warm, sticky liquid running down the side of his face, "I can't hear you."

Summary
Not that there was a lack of physicality on Clark’s behalf, but he didn’t throw himself at her the way Lois did with him. And that didn’t bother her, not really, but she had to wonder if there was a way to bridge that gap between them. It’s not like there was anything missing between them, but there was something missing in him that she noticed. A general lack of confidence. She’s sure everyone around her knew that already, but she had gotten so used to seeing Clark as Superman, she forgot it was even there. That, somehow, there was a disconnect between the two identities, and she was simply seeing what she wanted to see in him. But Clark didn’t gain more confidence in his day to day life, he simply became someone who could keep up with the tide just enough so that no one questioned a thing.
Thankfully, Lois knew Clark better than most.

Summary
Everything was more sensitive than usual. Sounds, smell, taste, usually it's easy to let these things fade into the background. Typically there was a certain threshold something had to cross until he registered it as either a threat and/or as something out of the normal. A scream, the burnt smell of smoke, the low hum of an explosion from miles away, even the faintest of changes beckoned his attention. Things like that were easy to distinguish by now.
Lois should not be one of these things.
Clark was especially sensitive to Lois’s needs and it was driving him crazy, least to say. He tried to mind his business as he usually did. He pretended to be completely oblivious. He had mastered the task of keeping himself occupied because he couldn't adhere to every crisis at any given time. But with those crises there were always other people nearby who could help, those situations often took care of themselves. Lois was his problem entirely.

This is about what he expected when he agreed to this. Only her words being the thing driving him, quenching his thirst, and invigorating him all the same. Though, he has to remind himself to at least exercise some self control even if his center is throbbing for any body to body contact. "Because you know what you want." His voice tremors as he tries to keep his desire at bay. "It's hard not to admire the dedication."
"I think I know good and well how fucking suffocating it is when you're married to your work." There's a low moan that comes out of her throat as she hisses in his ear, "He's just as dedicated as I am and it pisses me off." His heart skips a beat. Of all the times he had to be given a pep talk it had to be now? "I can tell when you haven't been taking care of yourself."
