Summary
Short summary, because I suck at those: another elf shows up at Tirharad at the same time the Numenoreans do, and Elendil discovers he is not the tallest person in Middle-Earth (yes, that needs fixing as well). An attempt to resurrect a very old fanfic series I never published and see if I can meld it with the new Rings of Power series. Keeping most of the series characterizations but allowing for canon to flow in where it needs to, with the addition of an OC.

Summary
Part II of my AU series, part I being 'don't you (forget about me)'. It is necessary to read that first to understand this one: modern setting with the realms of Numenor and Lindon and their monarchs standing against the machinations of Mordor and its allies.
The story's Part II picks up immediately preceding Tar-Miriel and Gil-galad's grand announcement and proceeds from there, as Elendil and Tariel navigate their new relationship personally and professionally.

Summary
This AU came quite unexpectedly alive after discussions with my lovely Discord friends (again, y'all know who you are and I love y'all).
'What if: modern AU, single father, three kids behaving badly at a supermarket'? It started like that, and then I decided to sort of riff off my huge main fic in Tolkienverse, also here on AO3.
It unexpectedly morphed into a 12 chapter fic, with possible one-shots following. I hope people like it.

Héra took a solo ride on her horse Ashere, which ~ as of that day ~ strictly speaking, she wasn't allowed to do...but she needed the freedom it offered.
After his own ride on Lohwen, his "Old Girl", Hama noticed that his sister's horse was gone. She returned to find him there, after some exploration of song, and they shared tender moments as close brother and sister.
