Summary
The Metros make a request of Shane: can he wait ten, fifteen minutes before he gets in the shower after practice? Just so the rest of them can shower first? It's only fair that they get to go first, since they have wives and girlfriends waiting for them at home, and obviously they can't shower at the same time. They wouldn't want Shane checking them out, or anything.
Shane gets the vicious crashout he deserves and gives the (individualized, highly personal) callouts the Metros deserve.

Summary
A series of unconnected oneshots where Heated Rivalry characters (mostly Shane so far, but like my other series, I'm having Thoughts about Luca) reveal something about their backstory or reasoning for canon decisions. Because half of Shane's life has the potential to be deeply tragic when you really think about it and he deserves to live authentically.
Marked as complete because all works stand alone and are complete, but I'll keep adding more as the plot bunnies arrive.

She got the number from Shane’s phone after learning the name from Hayden (This girl he’s been texting with for a long time, years, uhm she might be his sort-of-girlfriend?). She was simply listed in Shane’s contacts under “Lily”, no last name. She didn’t check their chat history because she valued her relationship with Shane, but it was a close call.
