Summary
Above all else, Ori considered himself a warrior. A warrior with a hand knitted cardigan, sure. A warrior with a bowl cut and gloves with the fingers cut off so he could still grip his quill, granted. And yes, he had a sling shot and not a more impressive axe or mace or mattock, but deep down he knew he was a warrior. Even if he did prefer his notebook over bloodshed.
He spent his time observing and chronicling their adventure. Ori observed his fellow travelers and he noticed everything, which is why he was surprised it took him so long to notice Bifur.

Summary
Rufus Drumknott was too intelligent to believe that he knew the patrician better than anyone else. However, he knew that the patrician had a fondness for small dogs, that he liked his tea strong and without sugar, that he was currently displeased with the man assembling the crossword in the Times, and that he was apparently in love with Sir Samuel Vimes.

NEW ACHIEVEMENT! And They Were Roommates by eclectillector

Summary
You know, Crawler, historians used to have a fascinating habit.
Two men would live together for forty years. They'd share a house. Share a bed. Raise a cat together. Leave each other everything in their wills. Write letters so disgustingly affectionate that they make romance novels look emotionally constipated.
And historians would look at all of this and conclude:
"What close friends."
Amazing.
Truly a level of denial normally reserved for cult leaders, reality television contestants, and people who think they're "just being nice."
Now, to be fair, housing costs are terrible. Sometimes two fully grown men do end up sharing an apartment. Sometimes they do sleep in the same bed. Sometimes they do spend every waking moment worrying about each other. Sometimes they do accidentally build a life together.
But eventually, Crawler, there comes a point where you're not fooling anybody anymore.
Not the audience.
Not the cat.
And definitely not yourselves.
REWARD:
You've unlocked the passive skill: Heterosexuality (Contested). The effectiveness of this skill decreases every time you call your roommate "family."

Summary
Valery has fallen in love quickly and foolishly with men like Boris before, so the act hardly registers. He is already there, drowning his folly in liquor, and he has no expectations or even shame. Shame at something so small seems meaningless in the face of Chernobyl. What is idle, fruitless desire for an untouchable man when plumes of ionized smoke still pour from gutted rubble to blacken the sky?

Summary
A siren sounds in his chest, warns him, look away, before you fall in too deeply. Before you cannot stop yourself any longer.
Fuck off, he tells the siren. I am a dying man.

Summary
It is a horrible realization to have, that perhaps Zuko hadn’t thought this entirely through.
Because Sokka is everywhere.
He is in council, he is in the palace, in the barracks, the merchant yards, the gardens. He is bouldering his way into Zuko’s rooms without a second glance at the guards and dragging him out to go sightseeing, to go to the markets, to lay in the sand and watch the stars.
He is everywhere, and he is beautiful.
Or: Zuko asks his friend to come to the Fire Nation as a new council member, and struggles to survive under these conditions.
