Summary
“Are you okay?” Rin asks uselessly—a dumb question, but sue him, he doesn’t know what to do here!
There’s not even a response, just a soft whine of pain as Isagi hides his face further by tucking it under a trembling arm. His other arm is stretched out beneath him, hand gripping his ankle tightly like the pressure will distract him from the pain. Isagi’s breath is coming out in short, shallow puffs, like he’s hyperventilating and not getting enough oxygen into his system.
Rin feels—he feels useless, unable to reach Isagi in his personal world of pain, but wanting to help him so badly all the same.
“Fuck, Isagi…” He whispers, reaching a hand out before stopping abruptly.

Summary
Lying there in the mud and the filth, Aerion comes to a realization.
In hindsight, he should’ve just accepted the trial by combat, or withdrawn his claim before this mess happened. Aerion would have been a fool to try to take him on alone. The man was a beast, a true alpha. But, once again, his love for cruel games got the best of him. He truly believed the miserable oaf of a hedge knight wouldn’t have been able to gather the men he needed for the Trial of Seven.
He was wrong.
He’s beginning to realize he often is.
Baelor was the variable he hadn’t accounted for. His own words, spoken only moments ago, echo in his mind, circling around and around. “I withdraw my accusation.” As he gazes blearily up at the gray sky, he feels as though he’s floating along with the breeze as said miserable oaf of a hedge knight manhandles his body and maneuvers him like a cloth doll.
He fucking hates alphas.
Dunk claims Aerion after the Trial when he yields, and finds himself pulled into the center of the storm that is House Targaryen.

Summary
“Sae…” she started softly. “I’m so sorry.”
Dabadie stopped moving entirely.
“But based on the test results, it’s been confirmed that you have leukemia.”
Leukemia.
The word sounded strangely distant. Like it belonged in someone else’s life instead of his.
“Oh.”
Diagnosed with leukemia at sixteen, Sae hides his worsening illness behind the cold facade expected of a rising football prodigy in Spain.
While isolation, harassment, and his illness slowly consume him, he struggles between pushing everyone away and finally allowing himself to be loved.
