Summary
While down and out, Atsushi lets Dazai convince him to take a job at a catering company for a little extra money. His first night on the job, he winds up encountering a sour fashion designer whose commitment to practical clothing intrigues him and whose ability is perfectly tailored to his work. In the process, Atsushi finds himself wearing something borrowed out of necessity. Each time he gives the clothing back, he finds himself wearing something else.
Or: Five times Akutagawa made Atsushi wear something, one time he asked Atsushi to take it off, and one time Atsushi put something on Akutagawa instead.

Or at least, they were. Until that invader offered something new: the chance to remember between resets. To make their own decisions with nothing more than some minor advice and a helping hand if requested. Naturally, Kris was interested. And that's why they woke up on Thursday morning, remembering two days that technically hadn't happened yet.
Messing with the code can be delicate work. Do the wrong thing at the wrong time, and the bridge might just break. Or change fundamentally.
It's a good thing nothing like that could happen, right?

Suguru isn’t extremely religious, doesn’t believe in God specifically but he does believe there is something out there, and whatever or whoever that might be, he really would’ve appreciated a warning for how he would end up desperately wanting to fuck the living shit out of his undoubtedly straight but unfortunately extremely attractive roommate. He’s jerked off to the bastard more fingers than he has available to count but he always makes sure to do it in the bathroom, because it would be weird to jerk off in a bed that he happens to share with his roommate.
It would be extremely weird, so he’s not quite sure why, at exactly three in the morning, without any difficulty or effort being made, he can very clearly make out the stuttering breaths coming from Satoru lying beside him – and without a doubt, his hand on his cock.

“Must’ve been tired this morning,” Suguru says aloud, voice quiet enough that Satoru almost misses it. His feet walk along the cool hard-wood flooring, his socks muffling any potentially loud sound. He pauses in front of the couch and Satoru has to force himself to breathe, not wanting to blow his cover. But nothing happens…
What…?
Nothing happens…
Satoru shuffles and brings his knees close to his chest, wondering if maybe he has just been imagining everything this past week.
“Oh Satoru…” Suguru sighs and Satoru slumps into the couch, grunting softly, about to admit defeat that Suguru is going to leave him here to freeze on the lumpy couch. He tries to look as pathetic as possible, letting his neck rest uncomfortably on the couch cushion, a petulant frown twisting his face, shoulders curling in on himself.
It doesn’t take much to look uncomfortable because Satoru is every bit that he looks.

“Suuguruuuuuu,” Satoru cries—
Suguru turns and shoves the lollipop into his mouth. Satoru cuts off abruptly, eyebrows jumping up as he closes his mouth automatically. His glasses are a centimeter away from sliding off his face, and Suguru pushes them back up without thinking about it.
“You’re disgusting,” Shoko gags, suddenly turning away like she’s been physically struck. “I’m going to bed. I hate you two. I’m killing you both in the morning.”
Suguru can’t help but laugh as she stalks away in the direction of her room.
Satoru unwinds himself from his arm, and there’s a faint smattering of red across his face as he takes the lollipop out of his mouth. “Where’s this from?”
Suguru shrugs. “I saw it when I was out today.”
“Oh,” Satoru replies, and his eyes seem a little dazed as he stares. The red doesn’t go away. “Thank you.”
