Summary
It's been long enough since Grantaire last saw Enjolras that he can pretend he doesn't even think about him anymore. But as the old year draws to a close, it seems that's going to change, whether he likes it or not.
The new year looks set to be an interesting one.

Memphis, and Jo's at a payphone outside a gas station, still bloody from that damn poltergeist throwing her into a wall, and trying to remember if it's 1-800-CALL-ATT or 1-800-COLLECT. She picks the second one. It seems more likely.

Summary
“Wait, wait, pick a queen, R!” Joly shouted, “Double coronation!”
Grantaire’s lips twisted as he smiled. One tooth angled out slightly from the others, it made his grin sharp.
“Our mighty leader was born to be a queen of sorts, more Boudicca or Margaret of Anjou, but my point stands I think.” He said, and he turned to look at Enjolras.
There was a beat of silence.
“Grantaire,” Enjolras said, as if that covered everything.

Summary
It's this first week of re-adjustment that Enjolras dreads, the week full of odd glances in the hall and of subtle reprimands from teachers who look at him like he's suffered some sort of irreversible fall from grace.
Grantaire would love that. If anything about this situation is concerning, it's that he's firmly resisted the opportunity to make a comment about Enjolras's burned wings or cracked halo.

(A nativity story AU featuring the angel R, the virgin Enjolras and three dozen sheep.)
“You are to be his chosen one, to bear the child that will free his people.” R beamed at him. “Isn’t that lovely?”
Silence reigned.
“To bear a child?” repeated the virgin Enjolras. “Is the Lord God Almighty perhaps aware that feminine though I look, I am a man?”

Summary
Enjolras and Grantaire are like a walking cliche.
They get drunk. They have sex. They wake up the next morning and it’s real awkward. One of them thinks that the other one regrets it. Maybe they both think that the other one regrets it. They avoid each other. They talk it out. Eventually. They live happily for the rest of their days. Everyone laughs when Courfeyrac tells the story at their wedding, years later.
No, wait. One of those details isn’t right. Rewind.
A post-apocalypse zombie AU.

Summary
Enjolras still has his stage eyeliner lingering near his long eyelashes and his hands look like an aristocrat's of old: pale, long-fingered, ready for indolent use. He has a mouth shaped for sin, made for dirty words and dirtier deeds, and a jaw made to bear bite marks along its strong lines. Enjolras talks like he's upholding justice but Grantaire thinks there's something of the bacchic in him, kept well masked.
They've been doing this since the first day of rehearsals, catching each other's eyes on them. Even as friends, weeks in, it’s true. One of them looks up: the other is looking back.

Ilya liked to picture the inside of Shane's chest as a ballroom, with a thick spongy lung carpet and the heart an absurdist throbbing chandelier above his head. He wandered between the slender columns of rib, admiring: sunrise, the staff cleaning up after a party that had finally ended.

Summary
The Barricades Rise tour starts in Ft. Lauderdale on one of those gorgeously mild days that only coastal Florida can produce. The sun is bright but the wind off the Atlantic is fresh and cooling. It’s not too humid, not too hot, especially as Grantaire takes the stage in the early evening. The sun is setting, wrapping the fairgrounds and the crowd in warm golden light. It’s damn near perfect.
It’s also one of the worst days of Grantaire’s entire life.
Probably the worst.

Grantaire leans against the edge of the door and looks out at him in bemusement. "You're the smartest man I know, Enjolras. I know your memory isn't this bad."
Enjolras's smile fades away to a bewildered frown. "What?"
"They're out again. They're always out on Thursdays. It's date night. I know you know this, I've only told you half a dozen times. And yet you keep showing up."

Summary
"Why are you calling me?" Éponine demands as soon as she answers Grantaire's call, her voice short and clipped. There's genuine concern lurking beneath the tone, though. "What happened? Your plane didn't explode, did it?"
"Unfortunately not." He's standing in the aisle, crushed between the over-cologned businessman in front of him and the man with shoulders like a linebacker behind as they all file forward, making glacial progress toward the front of the plane and freedom. "At this rate, I should be at baggage claim in twenty. Where's the nearest liquor store?"
She gives a laugh that's short and sharp and means she's more irritated than amused. "How the hell should I know? I'm your agent not your personal assistant, and I've never been to Boston before. Isn't that what your fancy smartphone's for?"
"My fancy smartphone is for being able to answer your emails while I'm in the air, or at line for Starbucks, or whizzing through the city in the back of a cab. Also for Candy Crush."

Summary
Three things Enjolras would like to know right now:
One, who let Courfeyrac plan Marius' bachelor party? (Marius. Marius let him.)
Two, why the hell did Grantaire sneak out of his bed before Enjolras woke up yesterday, right after they slept together for the first time.
And three, why on earth would he get drunk, get into an argument (with Grantaire, obviously) and then get married in Vegas (guess to whom, come on and guess).
