This is a guide to make text in color, be it for a single word, a full paragraph, several paragraphs in a row, or even the whole chapter, also in different sizes. The tutorial also contains ready-to-use codes for you to add to your work skins.
WARNING: all the codes in this guide were tested on a computer. I can't guarantee the effect when the work they are applied to is read on a mobile phone.
CHAPTER 1 is for pure colored text.
CHAPTER 2 is for text in gradient color, both linear gradient and radial gradient.
CHAPTER 3 contains the steps to combine gradient background with gradient text. It also contains the links to each of the other guides of my CSS GUIDES series

Kazuki blinked. “Everything okay?”
Rei’s fingers curled into his palm. “I… can’t sleep.”
Kazuki nodded, understanding immediately. “You want the couch? I’ll—”
“No,” Rei said, sharper than he meant. Then softer: “I want to stay. Here. If that’s okay.”
“Uh, sure”. Kazuki began to move, legs swinging off the bed. “I’ll go sleep on the couch—”
“No.” Rei stepped forward. His voice was hoarse. “I— I meant with you.”
Kazuki froze mid-motion. Silence stretched between them for what seemed like an eternity.
“…huh?”
Rei and Kazuki left the organization for good. And Rei should be able to sleep in his own bed. He should be able to sleep like everyone else, like a normal human being.
But he can't.
Kazuki graciously lends his own bed (and his body heat on cold winter nights).

Oh, so this is how she wants to play? He leaned back in his seat with a sigh. Putting his hands behind his head. “Yeah, yeah, save me once and suddenly you're some superhero, get over yourself, jester! It’s not like I'm gonna start thinking about you at night over this”, he said, shooing her away with his hand. “God Jax- Zooble said, but he stood up before they could finish. “Boy am I drowsy, see ya Kinger!” He sauntered off with his hands behind the back of his head. Kinger poked his head up from under the table, “What?”.
After Pomni saves Jax in an adventure. He goes on a mission to ask her on a date, because it’s funny! No other reason.

It was not one she was familiar with, and it was such a quiet hiss she was certain she had imagined it. She picked herself up, re-armed herself, and charged back into the fight with her shield in hand. (...) That one single word haunted her. They hissed it in combat as she slammed her shield into their cheek. They murmured it behind her back as she distracted herself speaking with the bartender. They whispered it as they left, certain she would not hear them. According to Hollyberry’s account, this single word in Dragontongue followed her through every interaction she had with Pitaya Dragon."
