"It was a word, one word, that had so thoroughly stumped her. Out of the blue, Pitaya Dragon had come to the Hollyberry Kingdom, in the middle of the night, begging for a fight. Far be it from her to turn down a sparring match with this particular friend—she had agreed immediately. In the ensuing melee, after having been slammed into a tree by their tail, she heard Pitaya Dragon utter a single word in Dragontongue. It was not one she was familiar with, and it was such a quiet hiss she was certain she had imagined it. She picked herself up, re-armed herself, and charged back into the fight with her shield in hand. (...) That one single word haunted her. They hissed it in combat as she slammed her shield into their cheek. They murmured it behind her back as she distracted herself speaking with the bartender. They whispered it as they left, certain she would not hear them. According to Hollyberry’s account, this single word in Dragontongue followed her through every interaction she had with Pitaya Dragon."
Following incredibly unusual behavior from her enemy turned friend, Hollyberry seeks counsel on Dragontongue.
