Summary
In the summer before his fifth year at Hogwarts, Harry is drawn to a room in Grimmauld Place. Like the Gryffindor he is, he enters the room without fear. The room is a library, and Harry is surprised to find that he’s eager to learn.
Then he gets the bad news: he’s been accidentally expelled from Hogwarts, and he needs to be sorted again. Everyone is confident that he’ll go straight back to Gryffindor, but with what he's been learning, Harry’s not so sure.

It had been said that luck never truly gives, it only lends. With that in mind, Peter guessed that for the past 17 years, he was still... waiting. He was waiting for the one moment in his life to finally go right. No more cancer treatments, no more nightmares, no more pain.
He knew he didn't have much longer left to live.
After all, the five-year survival rate for a stage four lung cancer patient was less than ten percent.
Tony thinks that his son will be in that ten percent. And as for his other father, Steve, Peter couldn't really tell. It was hard getting the opinion of someone who was rarely around anymore.
This had been his life for the past few months. His parents would argue, one would leave, and then the other would drink. He knew it wasn't their fault though. They'd given everything they had to try to give Peter a good life.
They were exhausted.
This was the beginning of his end.
That was, until, Peter met someone who helped him realize that it didn't have to end like this. And hopefully, with his new luck, good or bad, this might just change his life for the better.

When it finally becomes time for Harry to start his education at Hogwarts, he has no reason to tell the Sorting Hat not to place him in Slytherin, so he is Sorted into Slytherin and becomes best friends (and later on, more than friends) with Draco.

Voldemort’s lip curled - not in amusement, but disgust. His own mother had died for him. Pathetic, yes, sentimental and foolish - but she had chosen to die so that he could live. Lily Potter wasn’t even choosing to care. Surely the child of prophecy deserved a better mother than this! Even he could give the boy to a better family to be raised right!
Voldemort slowly reached down and picked up the child.
He was still staring at him. He was still oddly silent. His eyes were still the colour of the Killing curse and brimming with power.
Yes, Voldemort decided, that was exactly what he’d do.
"You belong to me now" he whispered.
And with a crack like thunder, he turned on the spot, vanishing into the night.Or, the one where Harry Potter is raised by the Lestranges and it goes more or less how you would expect.
