Will thinks for a moment, biting his lip and picking at his fingernails, before looking at Mike with a mysterious glint in his eyes. There's a rosy tint to his cheeks, and Mike has to stop himself from leaning over and biting them.
“Do you want to play Mario Kart again tonight?”
Mike and Will play video games. Just for fun. Totally, totally not as an excuse to get naked.

“That can’t be comfortable,” he said as Mike finally dropped onto his towel beside him. At his questioning glance, Will nodded vaguely to his chest— which, at that point, was nearly visible through the wet, transparent fabric. He did not think about it.
Mike followed his gesture, looking down at his shirt. “It’s… hell, actually.”
“Why don’t you just take it off?” Will asked. That was, evidently, the wrong thing to say. Mike’s lips pursed— an expression that he only pulled when someone ticked him off particularly badly. He always tended to tone it down whenever Will was at fault for it, like he didn’t want him to notice. Will always noticed.

New poster on here. Sorry if this is the wrong thread. But I don’t know who else to talk to about this.
Gosh this feels so weird to type, I’m literally on my friend’s dad’s computer at 3 am to make sure nobody else sees this and I’ve never said it aloud before but… I’m in love with my best friend (15M) who is dating my adopted sister (15F). I know it's not a good look. But I’ve known him since we were five and I’ve had a crush on him for years. He’s so smart and brave and funny. He always knows just what I need and never talks down to me when so many other people do just because they can. He stands up for me and our friends, always, no matter what. He believes in me in a way that nobody but my own mother does. I just… love him.

“It was the hottest thing I think I've ever seen,” Mike says, and when Will whips his head over, he’s nodding sagely. Like this is extremely important information.
“What,” Will chokes.
For a moment, Mike just keeps nodding. Lucas calls Almost ready! over the din of panic and Will tries to steady his breathing. He doesn’t know how he’d ended up being the one they trust with the stitches, but he gets their reasoning. Steady artists hands, they’d all said, even Mike, wincing while draining half the bottle. Then: I trust you.
“It was the hottest thing I’ve ever seen,” Mike repeats, like Will simply hadn’t heard him. “When you, like,” Mike dramatically wipes his nose with his good arm, eyes flashing dark. He misses, a little, and Will grabs his hand to bring it gently back down, but he gets the picture.
OR
Mike is severely injured in the Upside Down. He admits some things to Will, drunk out of his mind. They talk about it.
