“Don’t cry, Kacchan. I’m right here,” Izuku said with a gentle smile as his fingers gently wiped away Katsuki’s tears.
Izuku stood over him in the vast white landscape of nothing as Katsuki stayed kneeled before him.
He tried to speak, tried to tell him how much he missed him. All he wanted was to talk to him, to let the words he’d been wanting to say spill out of his mouth. But he was cursed to never speak in this place. Only able to watch as Izuku smiled sadly and wiped his tears.
“I’m right here, It’s okay,” Izuku cooed and when Katsuki blinked he once again opened his eyes to his dark, empty dorm room. His eyes barely able to see the blurry ceiling through his onslaught of tears.

Feeling annoyed that he won’t get to dance on Shigaraki’s worm-infested grave, check. Realizing that all his dreams amounted to nothing because he was too weak to fight back, check.
Yeah, that seems to cover it.
But wow, did this fucking suck or what?
