Supergirl hums with interest. Her eyes remain on the wall across from her, not once straying to Alex. There is an amount of trust that Supergirl is placing in her by doing so, by not sparing the woman digging into her wound even a glance, and Alex can’t comprehend why. “Really?”
“Yeah,” Alex says, moving onto the shards of kryptonite now. “My baby sister. Well – not a baby sister, but she’s a year younger than me so it’s basically the same thing.” She glances up at Supergirl’s face, at her pursed lips and the crinkle between her brows. “You’re both stubborn. And you both come into my apartment uninvited.”
Supergirl laughs again, and something in Alex feels the need to keep her smiling, the same way she always wants to make Kara smile.
“I don’t know. Something about you reminds me of her.”

When Rocky wakes up after Adrian, he's relieved they're both alive, but immediately knows that something is off with Grace. He's having trouble breathing, sleeping a lot, and spiking fevers. As much as Grace wants to blame it on lung irritation from the ammonia in Rocky's atmosphere, Rocky knows he's downplaying it, and it's not going to work.
However, before he can actually do anything about it, the ship's power goes out. Taumoeba have gotten into the fuel and eaten all the astrophage, leaving them with no choice but to steal from the beetles.
Which are on the outside of the ship.
Which means two EVAs and a lot of lab work for Grace, all while his condition declines from what's quickly turning into a serious health problem. All Rocky can do is make sure he has what he needs and try to take care of him as best he can from afar, hoping they can get to safety before Grace's health is too fragile to recover.Bookmarked by designbug
