I wanted to tell them it wasn’t safe, that someone might see. I looked around to see if anyone noticed and no one cared. Do you know what that’s like? To come into a world where, suddenly, no one cares when it’s all I ever cared about?

Jim pulls back the comm to look at the little screen. They’re still connected.
“Spock?” He asks. Nothing. Jim is about to snap the comm closed in frustration, when he hears a ragged inhale.
“You’re on a roof?” Spock’s voice is deadly soft, flat and hard and…something else that Jim’s brain won’t process. Jim rolls his eyes. He grabs another drink and wrestles it open, taking three large swigs before he bothers responding.

Post-Endgame Bucky goes on dates with seven people. Each work in the series tells the story of a date and a love interest, but the date might not be with the love interest, and in fact more than one love interest may come up (ahem) in each work.
Chronological? Never heard of her.
The structure of this series is loosely based on the novel The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. Other than both being about a famous fictional person with a secret love life, there are not many similarities in content.
