Summary
Nearly twenty-four hours after the rift to Makai is sealed, New York is still littered with rubble, military checkpoints, and the demons left behind.
While the world celebrates its survival, devil huntress Evelyn Ashcroft quietly returns to the ruins to collect demon bounties. Living alone in a secluded lakeside cottage, Evelyn has spent her life avoiding people.
