Gerard is standing in the middle of the room, hip cocked to the side and one hand on it. He is wearing his pajamas, stupid tiny shorts with a long sleeve, summer on the bottom and winter on the top. His white hair is still a little wet from the shower, some drops of water sliding down his neck and dampening the collar of his shirt.
He isn't smiling, and his eyes look huge with the way the shadows are cast from the harsh overhead light. Ray watches as he lifts up one finger, curling it in the air and beckoning Ray over.
