Alhaitham replied with nothing other than a low huff while he sat down next to Kaveh on the divan, seemingly unbothered by the comment which would have surely warranted an impromptu amputation had it come from anyone else.
“Is the sweet little junior in the room with us?” Tighnari asked, raising an eyebrow.
Or: Alhaitham and Kaveh are remarkably touchy with each each other, so their friends decide to take the matter into their own hands.

“It’s a really small space,” Kojiro said, still not looking at him.
“Oh. I get it. You’re afraid your overgrown gorilla body won’t fit in there, aren’t you? Well, I can assure you that although my closet is a bit small, two people will not be too much for it.”
A small party is held at Kaoru’s apartment for Christmas—courtesy of Kojiro, Hiromi, and the kids. It seems to be a perfectly normal occasion until the group begins playing Truth or Dare, which leads to Kaoru receiving a questionable dare from Reki. It’s a dare that requires him to stay inside a closet for seven minutes with none other than Kojiro. Things take a turn when Kaoru discovers that the feelings he’s kept hidden deep down are not as unrequited as he’d originally thought.

Summary
Alarm overtook Kaveh’s expression as he looked back and forth between Alhaitham and the matra, dropping his sketchpad and leaping to his feet. “Why is there a guard here? Did you get hurt?”
“Some idiot decided poisoning me to obtain state secrets would be an optimal use of a Tuesday morning,” Alhaitham replied with a deep sigh.
Kaveh’s hands hovered uselessly in the air for a few moments as he stared at Alhaitham. “I’m sorry, what?”
Leaning back against the wall, Alhaitham let out a weary exhale. “Truth serum,” he said tiredly, raking his fingers through his hair then dropping his hand down to rub his throat. “I can’t lie.”
Kaveh’s eyes widened. “Oh my gods. Are you - are you okay?” Hurrying forward, Kaveh - with his blessedly fully covered legs - guided Alhaitham onto the divan, hands steady despite the panic in his voice.
“I don’t know. I’m just glad you’re wearing pants,” was all Alhaitham managed to answer.
