Tommy was not interested in listening to Angel’s daily life. He was more concerned about the looks Siren was giving him.
“Dad! Can we please use the child?”
“I am not a child. You’re ob-jec-ti-fy-ing me.”
Siren frowned. “That’s not how objectification works-”
“Nuh-uh, it totally is. I said so.”
“Whatever. Can you help us with something?”
“What can I possibly help you with?”
“Depends. Are you up for a little mischief? A little light crime?”
Now that pricked Tommy’s attention. Why would heroes be doing ‘light crime’?
Was this an extremely obvious trap?
No. Tommy had to believe the heroes - Blade and Angel at least - would be smarter than that. Siren was iffy.

Tommy ends up at family therapy with the people who want to put him in a jail cell. It’s going better than he expected.

Summary
Tommyinnit leads one of the worst double lives in history. After his parents death Tommy was quick to take care of himself, and soon his close friend as well. He became a vigilante because he was never able to have the same opportunities considering his financial condition. So as a remedy he gets a grant based internship with a highly respected corporation. The very corporation that helps with any legal work that heroes face, meaning Tommy is surrounded by the people trying to catch him for the better part of most days. His biggest issue now is for them to never find out, and to do the occasional coffee run.

Dream (Dart), the average hero grunt (who is one inconvenience away from saying “fuck it” and turning to villainhood), has a soft spot for the annoying vigilante that just so happens to “accidentally” run into Dream on patrol constantly. A new threat appears that has Tommy (Torch) as one of the only people that can do anything about it. So, for the sake of the city (and at the cost of Dream’s dwindling sanity), the two team up.
The two are kidnapped by said threat, and Tommy’s family comes to save them. Well, save Tommy, that is. Dream is just pulled along for the ride because Tommy said so. Oh, and Tommy’s family are world renown super villains. Dream doesn’t get paid enough for this shit, but at least Blood God is hot. -

Dream started to walk back towards his own apartment, the further he went, the less ‘rich’ everything looked. From pristine new buildings came the old familiar brick walls. Some windows in peoples homes were broken, even using duct tape to cover it. Weeds stuck out along the cracked sidewalks. Graffiti was plastered almost everywhere, lamp posts on the streets were not working yet again, and a bloodied kid who looked about near death in an alleyway. Yep, normal things in the West End.
…Wait.
Whipping his head back and taking a few steps backward, Dream had to give a second take if he actually saw that. The answer was yes, it was a kid bleeding out in the alleyway. When Dream went closer, he found out it wasn’t just any kid but one of the members from the Syndicate, the villains. He had blonde hair, a red mask covering his eyes, and a red and white hoodie which was covered in blood near the stomach area.
