Except that actions have consequences, and now Rumi's period is late. It's lucky that she has her two best friends by her side through thick and thin. But could they be more than best friends? And could she do this without the baby's father? Would she even have to do this without him, actually? Whatever happens, Rumi is determined to overcome the demons of her past, and give her child a better shot at a patterned-skin life.
