"I was actually happy when I found out what had happened to you. I looked you up against my better judgment, fully expecting you to have moved on immediately. Agent Stone, consummate professional, busy making lattes for some other genius."

Stone snorted. "My number one attribute, huh?"

"You know it. Only reason I kept you around," Robotnik said quietly.

This is it. The best in-character Stobotnik story. Right here

    Summary

It was a compulsion that he couldn’t quite define. A burning in his blood, a tingle on the palms of his hands. A restlessness that drove him to art galleries, antique stores, and street markets, seeking some object that would please Aziraphale. Something beautiful, or something useful—something he would want to keep.

It started with little things, small tokens that didn’t require a special occasion: an embroidered silk bookmark; a rare and delicate tea from the highlands of China; a steel pen and inkwell to replace Aziraphale’s quill pen, and then a fountain pen to replace that.

And then things started to get out of hand.

I consider this a sort of companion piece to Birds of a Feather. It's an interesting twist on the nesting concept. Again with solid characterization, wonderful incorporation of the cannon, and Crowley's internal dialogue is just a joy to read.

    Summary

“Isn’t this nice?” says Aziraphale with badly feigned casualness the next time Crowley stops by for a late night drink.

Crowley is all set to reply, words lined up in his mouth waiting to go, when Aziraphale adds,

“I mean, all of the books and furniture and bottles of wine and things?”

Aziraphale nests. Crowley relearns some crucial facts about angelic courtship rituals.

It's been called the gold standard of nesting fics, and to me it definitely is! The characterization is spot on, the misunderstanding believable, and the comedy just perfectly sprinkled in. Definitely recommend.

Or: In which the dragon sickness is slowly transforming Thorin into a dragon, and Bilbo must save him before it is too late.

Possibly the best Thorin/Bilbo story I have ever read. Slow burn. Lovely addition to the mythology.
