The cafe was a good 10 minute walk from the park, which was expertly filled with mindless chatter between him and Dice, with Gentaro tuning in every now and then for an outlandish lie that was just crazy enough to pass as truth or a joke that didn’t land quite well, but at which they laughed anyways. It was nice, familiar in a way that almost made him not notice the constant stares they got as they walked down the street.
