The cold blades of Mankira stung the skin it touched. But it didn’t cut, he didn’t bleed- Jabber’s hands carefully cupped his cheeks and without cutting through him, he caressed them with his thumb.
“Fuuuu” He tried his best not to move. Not to tremble. “Buddy, pal…” His ears started ringing and he could hear the sound of his heart beat as his lip quivered. Jabber was terrifying. The way he stared at him like he was a piece of meat, waiting to approach and eat him whole. To leave nothing of him.
“Let's fight.” Jabber said with a big, toothy smile on his face. “But this time, let's make it a real one.”
