Leona opened one eye, raising an eyebrow as he took in the cross-legged Malleus, sitting in front of him with a book and pencil. He groaned, regardless, settling back into his previous position to do Malleus a favour. “What are you up to this time?” He spoke with a little smirk, eyes closing again as he wanted to give himself some space to fully wake up.
“I thought you appeared as quite the artistic subject, thus I felt intrigued to draw you.” Malleus said, focus turning back to his paper.

On another day, Leona would probably feel challenged by Malleus’ presence. Even now, as he stares up at the other student, his hackles are raising, his pulse quickening with… something. It’s not the usual sense of competition, though, and any biting remarks Leona could have given quickly die on his tongue. His nerves are frayed already, and something about Malleus’ inquisitive gaze is disarming. He’s blaming it on the idiotic postcard from his idiotic nephew.
“Oi,” Leona manages to growl, eyes narrowed suspiciously. “How fuckin’ long have you been standing there?”
“As long as you have been sitting there,” Malleus replies dubiously. Leona frowns at him, and the boy clarifies with a sigh, “I followed you in. You seemed restless.”
Restless is the right word for it. Leona briefly contemplates baring his claws and slashing at Malleus’ unperturbed face, and then decides that probably wouldn’t add much to the interaction, aside from potentially serving as entertainment to the other boy. How annoying.

“No, you don’t understand!” Aryu insisted, extremely frustrated at these two ridiculous boys on his team.
One had nothing but soccer on the brain—which, okay, they were in Blue Lock so maybe that was to be expected. But how did you have a conversation with a guy who was simultaneously very obviously obsessed with his brother but at the same time you weren’t allowed to mention his brother or a wobbly-eyed mushroom of a man who despite being in the top three still had no self esteem and constantly apologized for being alive?
“I just saw the most beautiful man in the baths!” Aryu continued.
Of course Rin just glared at him, cool and uninterested and irritated for being bothered.
“T-that’s, um, good?” Tokimitsu tried. “O-or is that…not good, maybe? I don’t know! I just—I’m sorry, Aryu-kun, don’t look at me—”
Aryu sighed (as glam as possible) and dramatically rubbed at his temples with his long, beautiful fingers for effect. “It was breathtaking,” he said. “I am forever changed.”
“B-but you can still play soccer, right?” Tokimitsu asked.
Aryu glimpsed the most beautiful man he'd ever seen in the bath. Unfortunately no one knows who it is and no one cares.
