Summary
At sixteen, Canary is one of the most feared villains in the city.
Nobody knows who he is. Nobody knows where he came from. All anyone knows is that Canary is always right.
Heroes think he’s a criminal mastermind. Villains think he can predict the future. Tommy thinks both assumptions are ridiculous.
After all, he’s got chemistry homework due on Friday.
Or, Tommy accidentally becomes a feared crime boss because his survival instincts are so absurdly overpowered that everyone mistakes him for a criminal genius. Meanwhile he’s living in abandoned buildings, failing chemistry, and pretending he definitely has his life together.
Unfortunately for him, the heroes are about to figure that out. And even more unfortunately, some of them might decide that’s their problem now.
This is my first Fic! So please bear with me on this. I’ll update tags and characters either as I remember them or as they show up in the story. I’ll try to release at the very least a chapter or two a week! Please, enjoy this fic that I thought of at literally 1 in the morning!

Summary
Waking up inside the world of a rising popular novel after his untimely death, 16-year-old Tommy Shires finds himself in the body of Theseus Borealis De La Norte—the cold and cruel villain destined to die a miserable end. As the only child of the powerful Northern Duke and his wife, Theseus lived a spoiled life of prestige and influence. But Tommy knows all too well how the story ends.
Desperate to escape the villain’s destined ending, he scrambles to change Theseus’s fate. Yet fate proves itself to be stacked against him. Despite his efforts, he meets the same tragic end the villain Theseus suffers—only to wake up again, seven years in the past, in the body of a 10-year-old Theseus who has yet to cause any harm or trouble. Five years before the main plot of the novel officially begins, thus giving tommy time to rewrite his Ending.
And this time, Tommy isn’t going to let himself fall to the same ending he—and the villain Theseus—once suffered.

Summary
Everything is quiet, the world has paused and the only sound is the squelching of the knife he digs into his mentor's chest. The heroes behind him are silent.
Once he’s finished cutting into his mentor's chest he stands. He’s covered in blood and he feels powerful,
“Nightmare is dead. Nightmare will never fight again, Solaris will, Solaris lives.” He’s looking at the helicopters, right into the lens of the camera watching him. He’s shocked they haven't cut the cameras.
“I am Solaris, and I am not a sidekick.”
Tommy will not let himself be a sidekick, and if that takes getting a job at the hero tower to use information to prove that he is powerful, he will.

Joined by Scar, the capable (if naive) guard, and Pearl, knight and noblewoman, he must travel across the country of Dawn to find and save the "Radiant" Princess Gem from a spell of eternal sleep. Or else the magic will fade and the kingdom will lose its light, the only source of energy and safety it has.
If that wasn't complicated enough, the magic seems to be alive. And Grian is the only person who can hear it calling.
