Summary
His cheeks were hollow. His skin was pale. She could see his eyes moving behind closed lids where he was trapped inside a dream. A respirator covered the lower half of his face. Titanium cuffs wrapped around his ankles and wrists. Tubes snaked out of his arms, neck, and chest. He was naked.
They'd cut his hair, trimming it close to his scalp to make room for electrodes. Something about that was the saddest part of all.
But not the most shocking.
It took a moment to register, even after Mary tore her eyes from Dante's face. He'd lost an alarming amount of muscle, body frail and bones stark except... except...
Mary breaks Dante out of Darkcom.

Summary
Suguru begins to wonder if it’s lonely for Gojo. Keeping an inch between him and the world.
Not an inch, a voice that sounds suspiciously like Shoko reminds him. Infinity.
But does it feel like infinity? When summer’s humidity swells to its peak, can Gojo feel the pressure? When a barrage of low-level curses ambushes them in Roppongi, can he sense their velocity, the twist of the wind? When Suguru grazes the immovable space between them – hands him a test paper, shoulders past him in the corridor, reaches out, unthinking, to slap him on the back – does Gojo know the warmth of Suguru's skin?
Then, on July 12th, in a sour-smelling alley in Katsushika ward, Suguru catches him. Hunched over, spindly legs crouched, a street-worn cat pressing her nose to his fingertips. It licks her sandpaper tongue over his knuckles. Rubs the flat of her forehead against his palm. Gojo hums, pushing a tangled cowlick back with his thumb, a serene little smile on his face.
Yes, Suguru thinks. It must be lonely.
(Trauma is complicated, brains are strange, and Satoru Gojo is not immune to either of these truths.)

Summary
The station was literally just a single platform, and they were the only two people who got off the train. Suguru’s parents were stood waiting for them and the moment Suguru was off the train they both smiled wide, genuine smiles.
Satoru watched as Suguru jogged over to tackle his mother in a hug. His father ruffled his hair and put an arm around his shoulders.
Suguru’s mother peered around Suguru and noticed Satoru still stood at the edge of the platform. The train had already pulled away and honestly he felt like dropping down onto the tracks to hide. Maybe he could sneak away?
This was a bad, bad idea, he realized. He shouldn’t have come. The pit in his stomach that had appeared while they were on the train instantly gaped open into a canyon under her kind eyes.
But it was too late now.

After the dust settles on the Star Plasma mission, and after Suguru is coaxed back from the brink, he invites Satoru to join him at his parents' house that summer.
Satoru is quick to agree, but the longer he is there the more the cracks begin to show. Maybe this was a bad idea.- Language:
