Summary
No one ever promised Technoblade safety before.
Plenty of people have offered him plenty of things, but they were always presented as deals. Techno gives himself to them in exchange for something: renown, his life, an escape route off a dying planet. It all seems the same after enough time, and this latest server is no different. The revolution that was supposed to come of it never did.
Techno is tired and done with it all. Frankly, he doesn't even care if there's an age minimum for retiring. If he wants safety, he obviously has to make it for himself.

"Grian's good at that, isn't he?" Mumbo jerked his head around to find Scar, fully naked, gently stroking himself. When had he gotten there?? Grian had no reaction, so it likely wasn't a recent development. Mumbo was too far gone to be self conscious and only watched as Scar observed them. "He would let you fuck his face if you wanted, you know."
Mumbo gets to feel just how lovely Grian is with his mouth and then scar shows up because we love him and they all fuck happily ever after :]]

Summary
After finishing the current potion, he opens the nearby chest to grab some more magma cream only to realize they're out. He sighs and tells Grian he's going to get some more from another room, getting a nod from him.
Scar's just opened the chest to grab the ingredient he needs when he hears a swear followed by a crash and then silence from Grian. He rushes in, frantically looking around, only to pause when he sees Grian.
He looks…well, smaller. Significantly so, and younger, too. He's a kid, now, despite definitely not being one earlier. Grian blinks up at him as Scar stares down at him, both wearing expressions of confusion.
