Kix figured out what happened and took out his own chip, but got captured before he could find someone to trust.
So by the time the Bad Batch show happens, Fives and Kix are both in stasis on the same ship, and the Bad Batch finds them on the edge of Republic space.
(I really wanted Five and Echo to find each other, that’s all. Then I decided I wanted to get rid of Palpatine too, and things spiraled from there)

“Mr.Strange… ” Peter had a sympathetic look in his eyes and Strange hated it. It wasn’t his life that was being destroyed, so why was Peter looking at him like the victim.
“Listen, I can send you somewhere there is no Peter Parker. There are an infinite number of universes, I can find one.” Strange said, more to himself than to Peter. And he knew this was dark magic, he knew he shouldn’t, but he didn’t care.
“I’ll send you there. Until I can fix this. Until I can bring you back.”
Or: Dr. Strange sends Peter to an alt universe where there are no Avengers, but they do have a thing called a Justice League. And sure Peter is homeless, but that doesn't stop him from being Spider-Man.

Summary

The man who he hated most in the world becomes a confidant and a guide as Cassidy travels back to places he swore he would never see again, begins to move on, and find those who he believed to be lost.

"Sir?" comes the confused response between panted gasps.

Never one to back down from a mission, both Obi-Wan and Cody agree to pose as a couple for as long as it takes to uncover the Separatists' plans for the planet.
There are... several problems with this. Cody has never even kissed another person before, let alone been in a romantic relationship—posing as his General's husband will somehow be easy, hard, and impossible all at the same time.
