Moron’s probably so coddled he couldn’t even fight his way out from under wet bread.”
The rabbit glared up at him from behind the heavy fringe of tawny hair, its nose scrunching indignantly.
Zoro ran a finger over the handsome face depicted on the curling paper. "But something about it doesn’t seem quite right,” he admitted softly, voicing his doubts aloud for the first time. “While the honorable thing for me to do is complete the quest… I’d like to hear his reasons for leaving when I find him. She was watching Loid intensely as if he were about to collapse at any second—it was as charming as it was overkill. "I think I'm going to call into work once Anya heads off to school. Try to sleep it off."
"I can call in too and stay with you," Yor immediately suggested. Which wasn’t odd, in fact Loid had half expected her offer. Yor's need to care for anyone she deemed family had been ingrained into her as a child, stemming from a childhood of taking care of her brother. It was natural that the alpha part of her would want to take care of a perceived spouse, especially an omega one.What Loid hadn't expected was that when he went to reply—oh there's no need for that, I'll be fine—what actually came out was, "If you're sure."
Loid's heat makes an unexpected appearance. Yor takes care of him.

He tilted his head up, cooing seductively, “Come on, alpha, aren’t you going to take care of me?” His legs slid open the tiniest bit in invitation and Yor was gone, replaced with someone she didn’t recognize, because she had never acted so feral in her life.
A growl tore from her throat and in a split second she pounced, lean athletic thighs seated on either side of him and trapping himself under her. She’d underestimated the omega though because he refused to submit, of course he wouldn’t, it wasn’t in his nature as a spy—and instead bucked under her, trying to throw the alpha off.
The thrill of it made her blood ignite like liquid fire and she found herself grinning widely.
Yor's target of the night was not the omega currently writhing and grinding against his hand on the hotel bed while in the throes of his heat but that didn't necessarily mean she could make her feet move long enough to leave. She was nothing if not adaptable though.
Realizing she'd want him more than a night, however, was not something she knew how to deal with.

The old building had a physical key for a long time, but Saint-Just upgraded the security a couple decades ago.
