Summary
Lance is an omega. Keith is a beta. This was something Lance had made peace with and determined that there was no way they could ever work. No matter how much he would like it to. Saving the universe and all that didn’t leave a whole lot of time to pursue such a complicated relationship.
However, when Keith finally starts getting the food and nutrition his hybrid body needs he is finally revealed to be an alpha. As he struggles with his new presentation, Lance tries his best to be there for him and support him. But it's difficult when the guy you love is now totally capable of giving you the best sex of your life.
Takes place post-season 3. Keith pilots the black lion and Lance pilots the red lion. Shiro is Shiro not a clone (I’m on a river in Egypt) and everything is fine except for the impending war against the Galra.

“Stiles?”
It was so quiet in the loft, the only sound Derek could hear was Stiles muttering to himself under his breath. It all played out like a horror movie, tense and eerie. Derek didn’t like horror movies, he’d already seen too much in the real world.
“Stiles, what are you doing?” The closer he got to the table, to Stiles, the more he could smell him. Fear and terror overriding in copious amounts. It was more than what Stiles usually provided, and oddly so seeing as how he wasn’t hunched over and hyperventilating. He was simply sitting there, breath even, heart calmly beating away in his chest.
Derek reached out, placing a hand on Stiles’ shoulder. He tugged on him to get Stiles to turn around. At first it was as if Stiles was fighting back against his grip but then Stiles relented and let himself be pulled backward.
His eyes were open but he wasn’t looking at anything in particular. Derek waved a hand over his face and sighed when he realized the obvious.
“You’re sleepwalking.”

Derek looks like the movies. When the camera pans out and shows a glimpse of the mysterious bad boy, the one who is tortured and hard-edged and smokes cigarettes beside the bleachers. And you just know, from the very beginning, that’s the boy the main character is going to fall for. No one can resist the injured eyes and the romanticized nihilism, certainly not a nobody who can never garner a second glance from anyone.
For a moment, Stiles is struck with the thought that, were they any other two people on the planet, he would have loved Derek. Could have envisioned something real with him. Stiles fiddles with his seatbelt strap to avoid thinking that. That he is the main character.
or: Stiles can see ghosts and Talia Hale’s appearance in his living room makes things really fucking complicated.
