Summary
All her life, Rumi was taught she was wrong. She should have been a beta, she should have been fully human, she wasn't anything like what Celine had wished. So she tried. Hiding her patterns, taking suppressants to be seen as a beta, thinking of herself as a mistake, of something infected with all the wrong in the world. Then she found a journal left from her mother, learned about the ways she was loved, realized she didn't have to fit into Celine's perfect idea of her, and she stopped trying to be.
Now she just has to tell Mira and Zoey that she's an omega, that she's half demon, and maybe most importantly, she's their mate.

Summary
Something nervous, terrified, settled into Rumi's features even as she gave a resolute nod. Shakily, she lifted her arms, having to lean against the edge of the tub heavily to keep from tumbling to the side. Pride flared in Mira again, though it was overshadowed by concern for what Rumi was trying to hide.
What had Celine forced her to keep silent? A million different horrible possibilities ran through her mind but all of them came to a screeching halt when she saw the purple on her skin.
The one thing she'd never considered.
Rumi had patterns.

What if Rumi got injured during the fight on the train? What if that injury led to the girls seeing her patterns?

Summary
Sometimes people break, they crumble, or they simply just feel too much at once. Each chapter is just that: the girls needing comfort to get through the harsher days. Zoey, Mira and Rumi all need some good love and cuddling.

“I have a proposal.”
All noise save for the tv stopped. If it wasn’t for the dubbed-over David Attenborough coming through the speakers, the sound of a pin dropping would have seemed like thunder. Both Mira and Zoey froze, a piece of popcorn falling out of Mira’s open mouth to land on Zoey’s stomach as they both slooooooowly turned to look at their leader. Their eyes were as large as saucers, as their innermost thoughts from moments ago resurfaced in an instant. Both could feel the heat in their cheeks as they blushed. Then Rumi started to laugh, breaking the spell. They both took breaths that they didn’t know they had been holding.
“You should see your faces! Both of you! You looked like you were going to pass out. Or summon your weapons! Did I grow horns or something? Or …”
She then started to laugh even harder as Mira and Zoey, faces still frozen in shock, turned to look at each other before scowling suspiciously. They then started to sputter simultaneously, trying to explain away the situation.
“Seriously. What did I say? Did you … wait. Did … Did you think I was proposing? Is the idea that scary to you two that .. I mean, I … well, I wouldn’t … Ya know, what? Forget it.”
