"Stiles wins something every year," Scott says, groaning as his character dies. "Last year he won a $5,000 college scholarship."

“If you want to get to him, you’ll have to go through me first.” Simon spat, raising his hands as if he could do any real damage with them.
Looking around, he saw five circle members left, and all of them were heavily armed with seraph blades and other weapons. Simon gulped and considered his options. He could make a break for it, but there was no way he could carry Raphael past the five of them. He could surrender, but then he’d end up dead. Again.
So, Simon did the next best thing. He raised his right hand and stared the circle members down.
“We are not the vampires you are looking for.”

Raphael glances over at Simon with raised brows, using a finger to hold the place in the book he’s reading and shifting his attention towards him.
“Is there a reason that Magnus is sending you pictures of him and Alec kissing?”
Simon turns the phone around to show Raphael said picture.
“I think the better question is why you’re reading my text messages in the first place,” Raphael says, and reaches his free hand out, gesturing for the phone.

In an attempt to annoy Raphael, Magnus starts sending increasingly adorable pictures of him and Alec kissing. However, it's Simon who comes up with the perfect solution to get him back.

“Yes, you should leave Simon. No one wants to be with someone like me.” Raphael muttered when he had calmed down, he was no longer looking like he could pass out any second but he was a bit whiter than usual so they had to get some blood into him. He detangled himself from Simon and sat faced towards the door, Simon stayed seated next to him.
“Someone like you? What do you mean?” Simon looked at him with confusion, it wasn’t a look that Raphael noticed because he was staring into the room.
“What do you think I mean, Simon.”
“Someone like you, do you mean smart? Or beautiful? Or cool? Or a vampire?” He had hoped to get a small smile as a reward, or at least a fond roll of the eyes. But Raphael didn’t respond like that in any way.
“Asexual, Simon. Broken.”

"...what?" Arthur asked blearily as the boy set down his food. Merlin didn't even pause as he went to the dresser and tossed some more clothes out of the cabinet. "You... You have an apprentice?" He repeated and squinted. "Why?"
"Oh, you know," Merlin shrugged, tossing a tunic on the bed "In case I die or something." He said. The boy blinked before glancing over at Merlin with pursed lips.
"You're not dying, are you?" He asked and Arthur had to shake his head to try and keep up with the conversation.
"I don't think so... But you can never be certain." Merlin told him with an air of stoicism. Arthur scowled. Honestly. This was ridiculous. Clearly, this was his servant's newest attempt to get out of work (or at least work less).
"Merlin, you're not getting an apprentice." Arthur told him. Merlin stopped to look at the king.
"I am. I have. He's right there. Say hi, Daegal."
"Hi!"

Daegal lives. Merlin takes him on as an apprentice. Arthur isn't sure what's going on. Mordred is also mad for some reason.
