A beautiful story about redemption and humanity, the authors use breathtaking imagery and metaphors to paint the emotions of each character. The contrast between the two worlds is wonderfully described, and its message of hope can be felt throughout the story.

A great story of introspection between Arianna and Varian (who is fresh off the villain train). Exploration of empathy, humanity, what makes a child, and what makes a villain.

Summary
An alternate 2019 brings with it new problems and new dangers.
The two sets of Hargreeves children mix like water on a greasefire. It's hard to tell which group is unhappier about the situation -- the Sparrows, trying to navigate the minefield of their new siblings' many traumas, or the Umbrellas, trying to carve their place back into a world that forgot them.
Plus the whole saving-the-world thing hanging over them all.
Whether they like it or not, they're going to have to learn to work together.

One of, if not *the*, best Miraculous fic I have ever read, starting with a switch-up of the Hawkmoth team-up storyline. Instead of Adrien, we have a fully conscious Marinette deciding to help The Worst Father. It beautifully shows the flaws of the main duo, equalizes them, and Adrien is given the opportunity for action and badassery he deserves (while not undercutting Marinette's own intelligence and charisma).

The first book is a sweet story about Marinette picking up her life during Lie-la's reign of terror, becoming closer with Adrien, gaining a new friend, and eventually getting back her old ones. It's very respectful toward the characters.
The second book is full-on humor and cheesy badassery. Even without the first book, it stands as a great pick-me-up fic.
